Jewellery show at Dubai in October

DUBAI: Even though the world is in recession mode, a huge jewellery show will be held in Dubai in October with the work of the most elite gold jewellers and watchmakers in the world.

The exclusive event, Salon Prive Haute Joaillerie Dubai, is being organised by luxury marketing organisations — The Nancy Robey Partnership and Turret Middle East.

According to World Gold Council website, thousands of people are expected to attend the three-day show in the United Arab Emirates between October 18 and 21.

Around 130 luxury retail companies from around the world will showcase their work, including businesses from Russia, India, China, the Middle East and the Ukraine.

Salon Prive Haute Joaillerie Dubai will be held at the five-star Madinat Jumeirah and its goal is to deliver new business in non-traditional markets of emerging opportunity.

Meanwhile, a range of 18-c gold watches has been created by Vacheron Constantin especially for Arab weddings, according to Maktoob Business.
